HELLO, I’m Tamsin.

it’s nice to meet you.

I’m a lifelong creative who loves to tell stories across multiple mediums that incorporate history, people, design, and a sense of time and place.

I’ve worked extensively with hospitality clients at all levels - from initial renovations through opening celebrations to ongoing support as a property evolves. In doing so, I’ve built a trusted network of industry connections that spans the country and beyond.

My background in design provides me with an eye for fine details and thoughtful touchpoints, and a mind for big-picture strategy and sustainable, long-term growth. I seek to build community and provide hospitality through every new venture and I’m always looking for interesting, design-led projects that allow me the opportunity to do so.

My studio is based in South Lake Tahoe, CA, but I happily (and seamlessly) work with clients locally and nationwide.

Some fun facts:

• I grew up in Wales, in the UK. My very first job was for a hotel attached to a Michelin-starred restaurant. I cleaned their four rooms for three hours on a Saturday and learned early on the power of a thoughtful touchpoint.

• I moved to the U.S. in 2012 after meeting a boy on vacation (true story!)

• I hate to have my picture taken, but I love to take pictures.

• I trained as a clothing designer and worked in the fashion industry in London for several years before relocating to the U.S.

• I am most at peace on a yoga mat, amongst the trees, or on an acupuncture table.

• I’ve learned that everyone has self-doubt, even those at the top of the game. Stop comparing - keep putting one foot forward.

• Don’t sit there procrastinating: head outside, move, or find a change of scene. It always helps.

• In another life, I plan to be a baker.

• I will travel for really great coffee.

• Trust the process and don’t be afraid to let go of the things that no longer serve you.
